Import from standalone barcode scanner

You can take stock with a standalone barcode scanner and import the scan log. The scan log will have one barcode on each line. If a product has 5 items in stock, the barcode for that product will be repeated 5 times in the scan log.

1. In the Stock Take app select the items you wish to update
2. Copy only the barcodes from your scanner file (one item per line)
3. Paste directly into the search box
4. Wait for the confirmation popup (Processed NNNN pasted items)
5. Click “More actions” and then “Scan log” to see if there were any errors.

One thousand barcodes typically take around a second to process.
